WordPerfect x5 does have the “Paste Special” with several options, including no “Unformatted Text”.

I use that feature in word to Paste Special - Unformatted text. This function drops all previous formatting of the text and uses the default font of your word processor. When you copy and paste you are copying the text as pure ascii text. That is the only way that text can be assured to be compatible with whatever program you are pasting it into. 2. Your default template in Word perfect is set to Times New Roman 10 pt. I have just copied text from a note field set to Arial 10 pt and pasted it into Libre Office and it pasted as Arial 10 pt. I changed the font in Legacy and tried again and it pasted in the new font. Given the above I would tend to believe it is a function of Word Perfect rather than Legacy. Perhaps a Word Perfect user group may yield the answer. -- Gene Young Researching Young, Harer, Cox & Sallada With Legacy Family Tree http://myyoungs.atspace.com/index.htm --- This email is free from viruses and malware because avast!
