I've had this problem in other programs a few years ago where I had to adjust my screen resolution or display options in Windows 7 from the default (100%) to a higher or lower percentage to get the buttons to show up. Sometimes the buttons would show up, but were below the bottom of the window and I couldn't read the labels on the buttons. This was just a temporary solution because adjusting the display options made everything either too big or too small for other programs so I uninstalled the programs that were causing the problems.
I never had this problem in Legacy 7.5 or 8. I recall it happening all the time in older Adobe software and WordPerfect which tells me it isn't a Legacy issue. Mike Fry makes a good suggestion. It is most likely the display driver. I never had the problem again after my updated driver became available. Sometimes, these sorts of problems can be as a result of an out-of-date display driver. -- Regards, Mike Fry Johannesburg Legacy User Group guidelines: http://www.LegacyFamilyTree.com/Etiquette.asp Archived messages after Nov. 21 2009: http://www.mail-archive.com/[email protected]/ Archived messages from old mail server - before Nov. 21 2009: http://www.mail-archive.com/[email protected]/ Online technical support: http://www.LegacyFamilyTree.com/Help.asp Follow Legacy on Facebook (http://www.facebook.com/LegacyFamilyTree) and on our blog (http://news.LegacyFamilyTree.com).
