Why did you update your drivers?
Normally there is NO reason to update UNLESS you are having hardware problem. Then you only update the drivers that are for the problem hardware. Some unneeded updates can and will cause other problems. If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it. Sometimes the buttons would show up, but were below the bottom of the window and I couldn't read the labels on the buttons. This was just a temporary solution because adjusting the display options made everything either too big or too small for other programs so I uninstalled the programs that were causing the problems. I never had this problem in Legacy 7.5 or 8. I recall it happening all the time in older Adobe software and WordPerfect which tells me it isn't a Legacy issue. Mike Fry makes a good suggestion. It is most likely the display driver. I never had the problem again after my updated driver became available. Sometimes, these sorts of problems can be as a result of an out-of-date display driver. -- Regards, Mike Fry Johannesburg Legacy User Group guidelines: http://www.LegacyFamilyTree.com/Etiquette.asp Archived messages after Nov. 21 2009: http://www.mail-archive.com/[email protected]/ Archived messages from old mail server - before Nov. 21 2009: http://www.mail-archive.com/[email protected]/ Online technical support: http://www.LegacyFamilyTree.com/Help.asp Follow Legacy on Facebook (http://www.facebook.com/LegacyFamilyTree) and on our blog (http://news.LegacyFamilyTree.com).
