Sherry, It would be much more helpful if you would read the post. He is using Legacy 7.5.
Customize numbers are in Legacy 8. What does he need to do in Legacy 7.5? Telling him to submit a suggestion implies that updates are still being made to Legacy 7.5. Is that so? RINs and MRINs will display in the same font as "Data". You could submit a suggestion form to be able to display that in smaller fonts. However, in 'Reports' - 'Book / Other' - 'Ancestors' - 'Preview' there are two points that niggle me: 1- When I only know the given name and not the family name of someone, Legacy puts 'Unknown' into any report I preview. For example I only know a William Smith and his wife Ann baptised children. I cannot find their marriage & so Ann is just entered into Legacy as Ann with no marriage details recorded. She appears as 'Ann Unknown' in report and report also produces 'William Smith married Ann Unknown' and then 'Ann Unknown married William Smith'. Is there a way to replace this 'Unknown' with just a blank space? 2- In same report, I would like to make the RIN & MRIN numbers in square brackets appear in a smaller font than the rest of the text. e.g. Ann Unknown married William Smith [251] [MRIN: 63] as opposed to how it appears now - Ann married William Wellon [251] [MRIN: 63] I have tried experimenting with the report font setting but with no success, can anybody help with this please? Hope that makes sense to everyone and thanks in advance for all help & advice.
