I'm not using NXT. Maybe that version doesn't have the same problem. This is the cheaper version for just doing simple backups and creating music CD's. I only use it for backing up data. I have Adobe software for doing the higher-end stuff. I always thought Roxio's bigger programs were too much fluff for the price and I would never use it.
I'm also running Windows 8.1 which doesn't like some of my older software so I had to upgrade.
