You are correct.  No other program has a conflict with Legacy.  It's just this 
Roxio program.  I should contact them and tell them their software is buggy.

No, that online "fix" didn't do anything.  Like I said before it only offers 
two options: install or uninstall.  That's Microsoft's solution for everything 
that they break.

I'm not sure that this fix-it tool will solve the OP's problem. He does not 
have a problem with an INSTALL or UN-INSTALL but rather Roxio wants to 
configure itself every time Legacy is started. Apparently he purchased Roxio, 
installed it, and wants to keep it. And apparently something was not quite 
right with Roxio leaving a Windows Installer config file around. Perhaps the 
fix-it tool will catch that, or he may wish to contact Roxio and ask them to 
fix their misdirected install. But the big question in my mind is why does 
Legacy want to run the Roxio config file? Apparently no other program is 
wanting to do that. We may have to wait until we hear more from the OP if the 
fix-it tool saves his day.
