I've never been a big fan of Roxio products which I believe are now owned by
Corel. I had Nero years ago and didn't like it.

The only way I can get rid of any Roxio residue is to restore my system using
the backup before I installed it. However, I tried to do an uninstall of Roxio
and was given the option to Repair it. I did the repair then ran Norton's
Registry Cleanup and I haven't had a problem with Roxio trying to reconfigure
itself when I open Legacy. Hopefully that fixed the problem.

Roxio has a long history of thefts of other programs resources. I'm
surprised they are still in business. They are also unlikely to help you fix
the problem other than to say Legacy or other programs should be removed. Nero
is a better burner and also some good free burners--IF you can get rid of all
Roxio's stuff.

Of MS Answers advice, transferring to a new user setup seems bestl--but
without Roxio.

I tried Microsoft's solution and it didn't work. It only asks to install or
uninstall. I don't want to do either. It's already installed and I want to keep
it. I just want to get Roxio to stop wanting to reconfigure every time I open
Legacy.
