Not sure about the file location/name issue,

I personally have my entire Legacy data folder in Dropbox with Legacy on my
desktop and laptop both pointing to the family database file there.  Always
up to date and available anywhere.  I also don't much use the Legacy backup
function when I close the file since it is always in Dropbox and backed
up.  Once in a while I do let Legacy make a new backup of the family file
just as a reference point in case I need to revert back to an earlier
incarnation of my database.
