Hi Cathy Its adding the note specific to the person that I am having trouble with. I have a custom event WILL with roles Beneficiary (the default), Executor, Names and some others and have managed to customise sentences for each. Starting with the person for the event I go to the main Individuals Information window, add the Will Event and then share it. Using the Name List I select the individuals I want to share with, and then use the drop down box beside them to choose the role I am assigning. Now comes the problem - when I go to Edit Role I cannot do anything further. I guess I was expecting that I could add the notes for the beneficiaries here but it seems that I cannot, but have to then go into each beneficiary individually to add the role specific notes. I will make a suggestion to the writers as it would certainly require a lot less navigating/mouse clicks to get all that information stored, especially in those cases where there are 20 or more beneficiaries or named individuals. (I am coming from TMG so theres always a focus on features that you have particularly liked previously.) I use the role notes for wills to detail what the beneficiary actually received - eg £5 within a year after my decease and my 6 silver teaspoons.
Thank you very much for taking the time to reply to my query.
