Checkout the FREE open source utility Greenshot. Does not do videos, but it does do OCR, and can capture full length web pages in MSIE(only) browser that are longer than the visible window. Multiple image formats, image editor, annotations, multiple output destinations, etc. Can capture drop down menus that usually disappear with other similar tools.
