This is a mailing list. It is not a forum where you can visit now and again to see messages. You will either get all messages as they are sent or none. CE sent you instructions on how you can manage your subscription so I will not repeat them.

Can someone please syllable me how to TURN OFF all the Legacy User Group

I would like to just go to the Group site and look at messages every
once in a while

Thank you

In reading this topic, in my opinion the clearest and most practicable
response was from Bob. Well done, "Robert57P_gmail" !

_Windows 10_: I'm sure in 3 months' time you will be wondering why you
didn't upgrade your Windows earlier (but take my word for it, Windows
8 and 8.1 would have upset you greatly; you're fortunate to have
missed that bad experience).

I will leave it to others to comment on how _Legacy v6_ will install
on Windows 10 – the post-Windows 7 requirements for where programs and
data should “go” are quite strict (for very good reasons).

Trialling _Legacy v8_ can be done for FREE, but without the Deluxe
features. My experience with Legacy began with v8 Deluxe, and those
extra features warrant the price.

As Bob explained so carefully, v6 and v8 are kept entirely separate on
your computer. Of course, you need to keep in mind where your
up-to-date and verified entries are: in Bob's scenario, they would be
in v6, until you make the transition to v8 or v9.

I'm confident that a transition to Legacy v9 from v8 will be a "happy"
one. From what I can discern, there have been very competent and
thorough real-world testers of the yet-to-be-released next version of
Legacy FT.

Perhaps your next paid-for version of Legacy FT should be v9 ?
