I was hoping that one of the staff members would answer this question.
It is my understanding that the Legacy Family Search component for Legacy does not handle sources for events and marriages so there is nothing you are doing wrong.
If you have sources in your Legacy for a marriage you will have to add those to the marriage via the FamilySearch site and if FamilySearch has a source for a marriage you will have to manually add that to the Legacy marriage.
