My apologies to everyone and I WAS WRONG regarding Legacy.
I had confused the _AppData folder within \Users\username\Documents\Legacy Family Tree\_AppData, which is valid and should be included in backing up the entire Legacy Family Tree folder, with \Users\username\AppData which is hidden and should not have any user data but does include save games from at least 6 different games and caused me to lose my current game when I had to rebuild my PC. I suspect that MicroSoft designed it for internal files relating to applications, which it does not matter if they are lost, and that is why they made the folder hidden so that we would not see it.
