Thank you for your reply.  I have Legacy8 Deluxe Edition.  I didn't
actually see the help index, which I've now discovered.  It's when I click
on Tech Support that a new web page opens but nothing loads, it just
remains blank.

I've closed Legacy and rebooted my computer several times and I've opened
different family trees, and they all have the same problem.

I normally add children by clicking on "Click to add a child" which no
longer works.  However, I've since discovered the Add key in the bar across
the top and that does work, so I guess my problem is resolved.
