Lets start with one thing at a time. Anchorage, Type that in to the location field in Family view for Born, Chr, Died, or Buried, Then click on the green ball (Not sure what it represents ) and low and behold Anchorage , Anchorage, Alaska, United States shows up. Click ok. You get the message that there is no County Anchorage. And that stops the next entry. So Being old and decrepid, I stop and fix that problem, Now what was I going to enter ????
Second thing is search tools, I search using (For Example) individual, given name,contains , AND individual, surname, contains and individual death date contains. This happily works time and time again until suddenly without any warning, given name will change to event notes, and my search is pooched. If I see it right away great but If I miss it I end up making a duplication in my file. Third That duplication may turn up in the automatic duplicate check where the fellows only wife will be marked as second spouse.
