This approach seems to work: Tag the individual(s) you want to duplicate. Export a gedcom with only the tagged individuals included. Import the gedcom into your family file - the duplicates will have new RINs, separate from the "originals."

Hi, I've been doing a lot of intense updates recently trawling probate records. One thing I'd love to be able to do quickly when having to split current information stored against 1 person into 2 separate people (same name, just a new RIN) is duplicate my current individual record... I looked for any such feature but could not find anything. Any others know how to do this?
