Here is a process that would work: 1. Untag everyone in your DB 2. Use Tag 1 to tag only the individual you want to duplicate. 3. Export the Tag 1 person to a Legacy file. 4. Open Legacy file with 1 person you exported and rename the person or make any other changes you want. 5. Open your original DB and import the 1 person DB with the newly renamed person to your DB. 6. You can then link this person up with a family as needed.

Hi, I've been doing a lot of intense updates recently trawling probate records. One thing I'd love to be able to do quickly when having to split current information stored against 1 person into 2 separate people (same name, just a new RIN) is duplicate my current individual record... I looked for any such feature but could not find anything. Any others know how to do this? Thanks so much, Andrew ROBBIE -- LegacyUserGroup mailing list [email protected] To manage your subscription and unsubscribe http://legacyusers.com/mailman/listinfo/legacyusergroup_legacyusers.com Archives at: http://www.mail-archive.com/[email protected]/
