Legacy should remember both the location and sizes for windows so once
you tweak a window to the size and place you like it it will always open
there. Does your problem repeat for all windows or is it only the first
time you open a window for a particular purpose like editing an
individual, editing marriage details, attaching sources etc.
Make sure that you do not move your Documents\Legacy Family
Tree\_AppData folder however. That folder contains your user settings,
including screen parameters and MUST be in the place specified. Moving
that folder will cause Legacy to create a new copy each time you start
the program and it will use all the default settings for everything
including window sizes and placements.

of my screen. I am constantly dragging them back to the right. While it
does allow me to drag it, it is a repetitive problem for me. Am I alone

Legacy has a long-time bug which makes it incompatible with the
Windows setting to Show Window Contents While Dragging. So this
Windows feature needs to be turned off.
To do this press your keyboard's Windows key along with the
Pause/Break key. Click on Advanced System Settings, then on the
Settings box for Performance. In the listing that appears remove
the tick for "Show window contents while dragging" then click OK
a couple of times.
