Ken, When I export a Gedcom 5.5 there is a place on the export options screen that reads: "Keep embedded formating codes withing text." If I leave this unchecked the Gedcom still exports the embedded text codes. i.e. I have used the codes to itialisize the names of Cemeteries on reports. Should this box be checked or unchecked if you do NOT want to export the embedded codes?
