When in the Picture Gallery, highlight the photo you want to remove and click the Remove button. This removes the link between Legacy and the photo.(assuming you only linked it in one place - otherwise this only removes this particular link and you'll need to see where else it is linked.)
If you use the Picture Centre you can EITHER delete the photo entirely from your computer OR unlink (unattach) the photo from the person or people to which it is linked (attached).
When you open the Picture Centre, navigate to the folder which contains the photo concerned.
If you want to delete the photo, simply click the Delete button on the Picture List Tab.
If you only want to remove the link, use the arrows on that tab to click through to the next person using the picture then switch to the Attached Pictures and click Remove.
Of course you can also use Windows Explorer to delete the photo from the folder in which it is stored if you have used the Individual or Marriage Picture Gallery to unattach the photo.
Hope this helps, Cathy

For the life of me, I can't figure out something which should be simple. I want to remove/delete a photo from Legacy - don't want to move it to the Legacy clipboard, want to delete it from my Legacy program entirely. Any help greatly appreciated..........Lorna Marks
