If you're talking about the Events list for an Individual (not the Assigned Sources list for the Individual's data), then you can move the Events up and down using the Set Order arrows on the right side of the screen. You can also sort Events by Name or Date via the Options button on the right side.
The Assigned Sources for "Alt. Birth" Events will all come out together on that screen, though not at the top of the list. I have one ancestor with 4 different Alt. Birth Events! Sketchy 1800's data. ;)

Also, when entering events, if I have more than one alt birth event, for
example, how do I get alt birth to once again display in the first column of
that person's master source list? I'd like that to happen for multiple
sources for other events also but the far left column that lists the event
stays blank. Is this standard or am I missing something in entering the
data?
