I'm puzzled by the comments that MRINs and RINs can change without you initiating it. I accept that it is easy for this to occur inadvertently through checking the wrong option by mistake. However, I'd use backups to manage this. As I'm pretty dependent on stable MRINs and RINs, I'd be interested in others' comments on the circumstances under which they will change. Just exporting Legacy to a new file does not cause the RINs and MRINs to change.

Hi Susan I use the Fileyourpapers method but to save grief if something goes wrong as I enter a person into my data base I put their MRIN in the User ID field this means if the worst hapened and the MRIN's changed I would still have the use ID's
