Hugh,
Glad to see you are in such good humor. I had a similar task (global) to
remove "Natural" from all my Relationship to Father and Mother fields, which
was a result of a bug in the GEDCOM load from an FTM-generated file. That
problem was fixed, but since I had not discovered it was a problem until I
had made many changes to my data, I couldn't reload. I've been fixing about
100 at a time manually. Luckily, through a few threads here on the list, I
have learned some keystroke savers, but it is still tedious. Best wishes
for quick success!

Subject: RE: [LegacyUG] Global Deletion #3

Thanks again for all the comments on my dilemma. As the guy with the 4 pound
eraser said, "I don't make small mistakes!"

Fortunately something better than square wheels and sliced bread came
along - her name is Cathy. She recommended copying a source (or sources) to
the clipboard and pasting in the appropriate spot. So THAT'S what that
little blue arrow and minus sign are for! Global ability is very efficient
but very dangerous anyhow.

Because of Cathy we can put the Old Dog/New Trick adage to rest.

There is always an answer somewhere waiting for a problem that needs to be
solved.

Active switch OFF, Lurk switch ON.
