If so, this doesn't work for me either. That is an MSWindows thing. You can do that with any file ... .txt, .exe, etc. The info you enter on the Summary tab does not actually get placed in the file. MSWindows stores it who-knows-where. I use it on .ged's that I download ... to add source info. The IPTC/EXIF info that is being discussed actually gets saved INSIDE the .jpg file in a special structure. -- Dennis M.
