Another two penny worth for you: According to my XP manual you cannot move program folders. I am suggesting that you copy your legacy folder in C:\program files to c:\ and then rename the legacy folder in c:\programs. Then install the update and point it to c:\Legacy. If this dose not work you can go back to the renamed file. Can any one out there verify this?

I will first grumble a bit that Legacy seems out of step in it's default installation location of c:\Legacy and would ask that be changed to the norm within \program files. But this morning there was a new wrinkle when I upgraded using the application's upgrade link, creating and installing into new folder c:\Legacy\ without asking or giving any opportunity to change the installation folder. The installation did not incorporate any of my .USR settings nor my registration for the Deluxe version. Needless to say, I went thru some hoops and got rid of the upgrade installation, going back to the current version from last October. So the question is how one might get this to install properly?
