You are probably correct, but I am missing what you are saying (smile). How can I save it to my hard drive if I can't open the CD?
Thanks
Linda

As was mentioned in another thread, you can't open a Legacy database (with
Legacy) when the database resides on a CD. The database must be copied to your
laptop's hard drive, then opened.
I hope I haven't misunderstood your problem.
