Legacy 5.0 Deluxe Edition Users

If you have Legacy 5.0 Deluxe Edition then start Legacy and click on the
internet icon on the top toolbar. From the popup menu select "Check for
Legacy Update" and then click the "Check Now" button (Note: You should
connect to the internet before you click the Check Now button.) Legacy
will check our web site and let you know there is a new build available and
you can then click the "Install Now" button. This will automatically start
the update process.
Legacy 5.0 Standard Edition Users

Standard Edition users are required to visit our web site in order to
download the new update. Click the Download button on the left.

Questionnaire Report - The inclusion of the Opening and Closing paragraphs is
now optional. The Christening/Baptism field is also now optional.
Name List - There is a new option to display birth-death years on names in the
Name List. This helps you find the person you are looking for when you have
several people with the same name in the list. This option is on the View tab
of the Customize Screen.
Double-sided printing of reports - There are now two options when printing
duplex reports: Double-sided (vertical) and Double-sided (horizontal). Vertical
prints a list-style report where the pages are turned vertically, and Horizontal
prints a book-style report where the pages are turned horizontally.

Database - This build will convert family files to a newer format. It's always
a great idea to make backups before installing a new update.
Internet Searches - If the person you are searching for has no start date or
ending date we no longer fill in 2005 as the ending year. Both start and end
years are left blank.
Pictures - During the Check Picture Paths if a picture was not found and the
user browses to and selects a picture with a different name we now save that new
picture name. We were only saving the new path location but kept the original
name. This allows you to link in a picture that was renamed.

RTF Reports - A note beginning with a left curly brace ({) would stop the
generation of an RTF format report. Fixed.
RTF Reports - A source citation ending with an underlined character would cause
the following sources to also be underlines. Fixed.
LDS - Editing a temple name on the LDS tab of the name list and clicking to
navigate to a new person or switching to a new tab was not saving the change as
it should.
Web Pages - Fixed an indexing problem that would display a non-functional link
in the Surname List.
Legacy Export - Fixed a problem where marriage information was being suppressed
if the option of Suppress Living Information option was checked and all records
were selected to be exported.
Notes - Sometimes the first word of a note pasted from an RTF source was
disappearing when the note was saved. Fixed.
Lineage Report - Some names were showing the wrong page number in the Name
Index. Fixed.
Event Report - There was a problem when printing event sentences in the Event
Report that included the [~inPlace] field. (This is the short location version
of [inPlace]). Fixed.
IGI Search - Fixed a filter list item that was causing an error 3075.
TempleReady Export - When including surrounding family for completeness of IGI,
some living individual's names could be included. Fixed.
