I have found so many distant relations just by having my web site on line
and Google logging it. It is well worth it.

Sorry, I disagree. I never thought I would have my own web site for my
family history, but partly because of this list I do. Awhile back, Richard
Eastman in his Eastman's Online Genealogy Newsletter mentioned a book
entitled "Planting Your Family Tree Online: How to Create Your Own Family
History Web Site" by Cyndi Howells. It is part of the National Genealogical
Society Series. I purchased a copy and the first chapter, Why You Need a
Genealogy Web Site, changed my mind.
Using Legacy and tips from this group my web site is now a reality. If a
separate list had existed, I would not have joined.
