Hello Dan,
I have the same problem as Mark and I tried to follow your suggestion.
Unfortunately when I create the web pages the URL does not show as a
clickable link.
I used the same syntax as you suggested but no luck with it.
I understand that Legacy uses only the primary picture from the picture
gallery of any individual. I have tried for ages to attach a file with
several pictures for the same person.
Hope I can receive some help on this.
Best regards.

PS Having to use create web pages and reports in different languages, I
have tried several programs. LEGACY wins hands down !!!

Hi Mark,
One possibility would be to add a Master Event, possibly called "Photo
Album" or some such. Then in the event sentence (or in the event notes)
for each person, add the url for the individuals web picture page, such
as: "To view more pictures please click here:
http://www.mywebsite/pictures/00000_pics.htm " Note: Be sure to change the
web address (url) to the correct one for each person you add the "event" to.
Also, this new Master Event can be made "private" if you don't want it to
show in other reports. Then to include this "event" in your web pages
just be sure to un-tick the private setting in this Master Event before
creating your web pages.
Hope this helps,
Dan

Subject: [LegacyUG] Web Link in a record
I have a website which is generated from Legacy. The problem I'm having is I
have a lot of pictures of people. I have created a "picture" page for some
of them. They are named as 00000_pics.htm where 00000 is the RIN. Where
in the individual's record could I add a link to the picture page for this
person? I don't want to have to go and re-edit every person's page each
time I re-generate the web pages to include this link to the picture page.
If there was a place in the record where I could include this link then each
time the web pages were re-generated the link would already be included.
Hope I explained this ok.
Mark
