This is because Windows XP employs the PC's username as part of the file
name. For example: My home PC's file path reads: C:\Documents and
Settings\Herman H\My Documents\My Pictures and my laptop file path to the
identical folder, reads: C:\Documents and Settings\Herman L\My Documents\My
Pictures .

Note that the difference lies in the middle: You can see that the two
different machines have different assigned subdirectories: "Herman H" which
stands for "Herman's home PC" and the other one, "Herman L" which implies:
"Herman's Laptop."

Alternatively... *Don't* keep your pictures in your userspace. Put them in the same fixed place on both machines. Create a directory on both machines under the root of a drive called 'My Pictures'. Store all your stuff in and below there. Let Legacy know where they are.
