The "use quoted names in Narratives" and "remove quoted given names" options should be a good solution to the problem. However, they aren't applied consistently. I have reported this on many occasions, and asked for a fix, but my requests have been ignored and never even acknowledged by Support. There are many places where the "quoted" name is still used - for example: They had one child - William Raymond "Bill" Smith. This should read: They had one child - William Raymond Smith (preferably) or I would accept ....had one child - Bill Smith. As it is it is neither one thing nor another. I am happy that on charts, or anything other than narratives, the full name is used. But when I am reading about the life of a person I want to see the name they used commonly.
