Hopefully we can make this clear and uncomplicated for the users so if
they only have NXT they don't get confused about anything from the RCX
side. We might have to recomment some of our Java code if we mention
RCX in the API docs for starters.
I'd eventually like to create a shiny new Web page specifically for
the NXT but obviously providing large links from the leJOS RCX page to
the NXT and vice-versa.
What I really had in mind was that both RCX and NXT could offer
the same communication protocols (LNP, ...), then you only need
some way for them to communicate. The only way I know of today
is via the host, but maybe there could be some add-on module
for the NXT that does IR to the RCX
(I have no idea if that is planned / easy / possible).
That sounds like a good idea. RCX owners might find interesting ways
to use them together.
