Frankly, adding further powers to the formula seems too cheap to me. Besides, I believe pixel vignetting is quite often colour-dependent. For example, my NEX-7 suffers from magenta corners for very short-focal-length lenses. Eventually, I'd like to have flat-field images in Lensfun.
