 I agree.  The print-bindings (or a new print-settings) command should a
least tell where each binding comes from.

It may be on the list, but given the success with new key bindings w/o
changing the settings code I'm not sure anything new with settings is ever
going to happen.  The problem is that I just don't understand how to handle
trees of bindings.  I think Terry Brown may want to do something about
this.  I tried to discourage him, but he persisted :-)
