Thanks for the info, I'll definitely use it, however .... When not
using Leo, I use vim (actually gvim), i.e. a lot. I do not claim to be
expert in vim modes, just a practical user, and at least on windows I
can always select text with the mouse or shift-arrows in command or
insert modes, and then use the windows convention of ctrl-x,c,v. I
have not modified my vim settings, and I think it would be very
convenient if Leo would behave the same as is.

Indeed, for myself, I can modify the bindings.
