Well, in this case the "weird" symbols were empty (non-existent) config files. Sorry - I hadn't had a chance to look at this in a bit, but just pulled the current trunk, and it seems to work on OS X (at least, on my 10.6.3). I have found a link to getting PyQt up (http://blog.oak-tree.us/ index.php/2010/05/27/pyqt-snow-leopard) but for me this build fails. With python 2.6.4, which I built, Leo does come up and run with Tk. Running the default 2.6.1 Python that is installed in Snow Leopard, Leo comes up with qt (version 2.6.1 - judging from the date on the site-package, it looks like this came installed on the macbook). Qt results in much crisper text (among other things). - Yarko - Yarko > > -- > You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups > "leo-editor" group. > To post to this group, send email to [email protected]. > To unsubscribe from this group, send email to > [email protected]. > For more options, visit this group > athttp://groups.google.com/group/leo-editor?hl=en. -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "leo-editor" group.
