Yes.  Leo *can* be made to work on the Mac.  I've done so and
documented the (difficult) process.

I agree.

:-)  In my experience, such subtleties can get lost on users.  In any
case, we are all in agreement that getting Qt to run on the Mac is not
for the faint of heart.
