Can't help wondering if leo should target one of these without first checking
that sqlite isn't up to the task. I guess sqlite doesn't have the same
attribute API for arbitrary attributes, but still, it would be nice to see DB
support layered so a sqlite adapter could be written so DB support was achieved
without adding new dependencies.

And maybe if something is missing from sqlite we still can keep things
simple using sqlite based technologies like fossil-scm. I really like
that it provides things like bazaar and Launchpad without over-complex
requirements and event that this is a NoSQL Database[1], a paradigm now
more prominent with things like CouchDB (but pioneered by approaches
like ZopeDB). Adding things like Leo + Fossil could create some kind of
a minimalistic multiplataform portable p2p social coding environment
(this are the projects I thought when I refer to apps that live "inside"
Leo as an explored path).

I really liked the Ville comment about Leo being something like nothing
else out there that is exploring uncharted rivers in an original way.
This is one of the reasons that keeps me here, even if I'm not a programmer.
