I love Leo, but haven't used it since it wouldn't work even after I downloaded python, pyqt and leo separately. Apparently (at least I noticed a mention to this effect on the site for pyqt) there's something missing in pyqt when you do it on Windows. I thought I was dealing with confusion between python 3.x and 2.6+, until I did a straight install, following the instructions on the Leo page, here on my Mom's virgin computer. The Leo install finds the right python (only 3.x exists here), and I installed python and pyqt first. On the pyqt site there seems to be some mention of something else you need to install, that they only had GNU/Linux instructions for. Not sure that's the problem. I get a Leo icon and nothing happens when I click it. So I could get into debugging this, perfectly well, but note: I can definitely download python, pyqt and leo separately.
