Yes, me too. Though I may have used it for learning if it were up to date.

Not for me. The screenbooks let me jump around to the points which are
most intriguing. I find screencasts frustrating and illuminating in
equal measure. That said I agree with the general principle that
re-using standard applications or methods generally have a longer
lifespan than custom solutions. And that the simplicity of recording a
couple of minutes of speaking into a microphone and driving an app
this way and that is not to be dismissed off-handedly.
