In fact... we could create ~/.leo/myLeoSettings.leo with README @settings @bool check_for_updates = True/False Where the README node explains how to use ~/.leo/myLeoSettings.leo - we should be doing that anyway, rather than the current Help -> myLeoSettings not working unless you create it manually.
