I think it best not to mention those delimiters in the tutorial: they slow
and confuse the exposition.  They are an advanced feature--Leo's docs don't
use them.

Don't worry about it :-) Steve thinks the new rst3 tutorial is worse than
the old, so I am looking at it with fresh eyes.  We'll get it right soon,
with everyone's help.
