This is truly annoying. That's why of us have proposed a more diff friendly format, like YAML or JSON and that's why I use STON for Grafoscopio. Changing order in siblings or children is represented relatively easy with STON. I found this XML format and diff gratuitously human unfriendly despite of being a standard. I think that maybe a friendlier human/diff format is a worthy exploration to deal with this diff issues.
