As of today, you have no other solution than adding the flexible parts 
outside LeoCAD. Lsynth (http://kclague.net/LSynth/index.htm) is the tool 
of choice for that, see also this tutorial:

You will have to save your work in LDraw format to use that (do it in 
the end)
