No, it is http://sources.redhat.com/cygwin/xfree/faq.html with a "Last
Modified March 25th, 2001". Does not look outdated. As a matter of fact,
if *that* is not the official Cygwin site and FAQ, where are they?

My ego has nothing to do with it. The issue is the flabbergasting of
people who dutifully follow the FAQ and get nowhere. Anyway, removing
any mention of Lesstif would be overkill. Simply,

"Use the most recent version of LessTif. Precompiled binaries for Cygwin
are always available from http://www.lesstif.org";

should be replaced by something like:

"Use the most recent source release of LessTif from
http://www.lesstif.org and read their FAQ (and related documentation in
the release) on how to compile Lesstif for Cygwin".

Greetings
