After some testing here, I've definitely determined that 4.06 has an issue with properly expiring outgoing queue items. They just build and build and never get expired. Once reverting back to 4.05-1404, they're properly clearing out again.

Same problem, but I haven't reverted yet; restarting sends some of them back out...some to the same folks who have already received them, some to those who hadn't.

Again, for me, at least, this does not seem to be related to actual reported bounces, but to stuff that was *never attempted* because when it went through the first time the recipient's ISP was in the "do not connect to" list.

This is still happening. Restarted the server yesterday and folks started getting mail originally sent on 4/9...

Are you still using 4.06, or are you seeing the problem with 4.05 too?

We had it with 4.06, but reverting to 4.05-1404 has definitely fixed it.
