I understand that. I was just trying to mention that BLFS has put
out a set table of UID/GID's and you may have wanted to conform
with that. It would only seem logical that folks that build the
cross-LFS book would follow BLFS as well.

As far as you saying that BLFS 'will not support' the cross-LFS
book, well I'm not exactly sure what Bruce said that day was the
whole and complete final say.

It is my understanding that once one builds his cross-LFS system,
it will not need cross building for BLFS once the system is booted
and running on its own. At that point cross-building is over and
it is now native building.

Of course, there very well may need to be some additions/addendum
required in BLFS to support multiple-arches, but I don't see a
big need to provide 'cross' instructions. Native instructions
should work. Right?
