My final words on the subject:
In Cross-LFS books there are some references:
In chapter Creating the passwd, group, and log Files:
CLFS-svn-20061126:
Additional groups you may want to add:
users:x:1000:
The default GID used by shadow for new users
CLFS-sysroot-svn-0.0.1-20061126:
users:x:100:
The default GID used by shadow for new users
CLFS-embedded-svn-0.0.1-20061126
users:x:100:
The default GID used by shadow for new users
Today, for curiosity, I removed the users 100 group and tried some
useradd and came up again the unknown gid 100, re-solved by adding again
the users 100 group.
Have a nice evening,
Luca
P.S. Sorry about not putting in trac
