I forgot to add that, since I would very much like to deprecate all
the old xorg core fonts, when I get to the end of building
everything which I think *might* break without core fonts, I hope to
add minimaal core fonts (libXfont, bdftopcf, adobe 100 dpi) and then
retry all the possibly-broken packages.

But there is a *lot* to try before I get to there, and I'm not sure
if I've got the patience.
