set nosmartindent noautoindent to your ~/.vimrc to disable autoindentation on every run. If you only need this when you paste something, look into bracketed paste mode of your terminal. I can also see that you are using Vim like its main mode was insert mode. If you spend a lot of time in Vim, you should probably learn to utilise the full power of Vim. Have a nice day, Kuba
